Named “Juan” After San Juan De Los Lagos Virgin’s Cathedral.
My parents made a promise; if she helped them have a boy, he would be named after her and “Jose” my dad’s name.
1966.
Helped my mom collect some bricks. Due to financial difficulties my mom decided to buy & sell eggs, they were kept on the floor. I suggested putting some bricks to the eggs in order to keep them clean, away from the floor. Helped Mom to open, close, go to the farmer’s market everyday at 5am and making deliveries.
1967.
Opened My First Business Producing & Selling Aluminum Garbage – Dustpans With High Holders. First in Our Local Market. I shared 50% of my earnings with Mom.
1973.
Bought my first Car with my own money at the age of 13 YO: 1940 Ford Truck. I still have this car.
1980.
Started working At “Santamarina Y Steta” Law Firm and on the same year I opened my first restaurant. “Video Tacos Capricho” In Aguascalientes, Mexico.
1982.
Working at Powerful Secretaria de Gobernación ( Secretary Of State of Mexico) Manuel Bartlett’s Administration.
1983.
Finished my law college degree from the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, in Mexico City.
1986.
Moved to New York and worked for the Mexican Consulate of Mexico.
1986.
Birth of my First great talented Son in New York.
1989.
Opened an International Trade Regulations Consulting Firm in New York operation is still in works based in Mexico City.
1996.
I inaugurate my second restaurant, “Emilio’s Restaurant” in Houston.
2001.
Living in New York. 9/11 Experienced Live Second Plane Hitting The Tower.

Discovered I Had Talent To Design Jeans and Sold Collections & Production to Abercrombie & Fitch; Levi’s; American Eagle; Chicos; Guess; Antrophologie; Zara; Limited.

Opened “Mexico Viejo Tequila Lounge” Restaurant in Aguascalientes Mexico.
2005.
Birth of my beautiful talented first daughter in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Birth of my Second daughter, an Angel who changed my life from a great life to a fantastic life the day she was born in Mexico City.

Birth of my fun smart talented second son in Torreon, Mexico.

Opened a French Restaurant “Claofuti” in Torreon, Mexico.

Invented & Created Jeans Iniciatives: Stop Waste of Water “Jeans 12th” Jeans That don’t need to be washed in 12 months; ” Who Are You?” use of Laser, Ozone & Nano Technology to avoid the waste of water to make jeans; “L.I.F.E” Low Impact Finishing Energy Production leasing initiative to stop pollution in the jeans manufacturing; “For Her” unique jeans for Woman; “Design Your Own Jeans At Your Favorite Jeans Brand & Have Them Delivery In 48 Hours” a Sublimation finish no water waste.

JJ Medina, current entrepreneur and businessman, was born in the City of Queretaro, Mexico in the year 1959. His life circumstances have shaped him to be a person full of determination, and perseverance from a young age. This has led to a variety of successes throughout his life, from a young JJ who helped his mother through a rough economic patch and made his own money to later buy his own truck, to a multiple business owning family man who actively participates in a philanthropic manner to help his own community.
He triumphed in the execution of his career as a lawyer working for the most recognized law firm in México, Santamarina & Steta Lawyers.
His professional career includes: high position in Secretaria de Gobernación in México City and the General Consulate of México in New York City, Vice President of Sales and Design in Siete Leguas Jeans Company, his Restaurant Business, his Design Center with companies in Brazil & Panama and current Business in Houston.
